I applied online. The process took 7+ months. I interviewed at Rapptr Labs (New York, NY) in Nov 2022
Interview
I was scheduled for an interview, but it was postponed three times at the last minimum, on the day of the interview, I waited for 30 mins yet no feedback, only to get a mail in the last meeting that they were not available, I responded to the email yet, Rescheduled to a new time, in which the whole experience was messy, it was just really sad experience, I must say

Question 1
1. I was not asked any questions instead I was told to ask and I was told no idea when to expect a feedback
Got ghosted. What a joke of a company. Everyone's time is valuable so don't be so casual about wasting it. This has become a problem with many companies in the recent past.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. As the owner of Rapptr Labs I want to personally respond here and apologize for the experience you had interviewing. It is completely unacceptable and something we're in the process of correcting.
Here at Rapptr we're big on accountability, transparency, and always taking steps to improve. So in that spirit here are some of the steps we've taken in the last 30 days to help improve the candidate experience:
1) Hired a Recruiting Coordinator who will be solely dedicated to finding and communicating with candidates. Previously other members of our team wore multiple hats to support this function.
2) Started evaluating premium tools that can be used to assist our team with technical assessments so they require less manual work on our end.
3) Spending time to conduct training to broaden out the number of engineers who can contribute to candidate evaluation.
4) We're going to start working on more collateral and decks that we can provide to candidates upfront so they can get a better picture of what it's like to work at Rapptr so they can make a more informed decision upfront about whether they want to start our interviewing process.
We are optimistic these investments will result in a greatly improved hiring process for engineers. Thank you again for your feedback.
Best,
Drew Johnson
