I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rare Carat
Interview
Massive waste of time. I am the highest end of a subject matter expert the could possibly get, more than any standard student with just a GIA GG. Was more than willing to take the pay cut for the remote position opportunity. I was actually instead offered a mid-level position because of my qualifications. They ghosted me. Interviewer was extremely underqualified and it was clear I was to be her replacement. Why interview for a job posting only to be offered a higher position and then ghost your candidate?
Great! Interviewing was a wonderful experience. Thoughtful questions and professionalism throughout. Multiple interviews with various people, all of whom were respectful and kind. Overall, a very professional experience. Highly recommend.
The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Rare Carat (Austin, TX) in Oct 2021
Interview
I personally had a great interview experience with Miss. Kate McFarland. When we spoke, she didn’t ask me the typical questions, that we’ve all been trained on how to answer. She asked me questions that helped to get to know me better as a person. Along with my real life academic and work experience. It was the first time I’ve ever had that happen and I’ve always thought it was such an amazing approach to take!
