Official Statement from Ravi's Import Warehouse:
We are aware of the recent online comment made by a former applicant. While we respect every individual's right to share their experience, we feel compelled to clarify a few facts to prevent any misunderstandings.
The applicant in question was clearly informed at the outset that our recruitment process involves multiple interview rounds, followed by a written test. Despite applying for a higher-level role, the results of the written assessment and overall interview performance indicated a need for further development.
Additionally, during the interview, the candidate disclosed that he was already staying in Dallas with a relative, and no request was made to cover travel expenses. At no point was there any bait-and-switch involved. Based on our evaluation, our team extended an internship opportunity as a way for the applicant to grow and potentially be considered for a future role.
We believe in providing fair opportunities and maintaining transparency. We also strive to preserve the dignity and privacy of every candidate. Therefore, while we could disclose more details to counter the false narrative, we have chosen not to, in order to avoid negatively impacting the applicant’s future prospects.
We kindly ask that individuals refrain from spreading misleading information that may damage the reputation of companies working in good faith.
