Interview
I made an online application and was contacted for zoom interview. 1st round was group interview and questions were pretty easy. Shortly after I was invited for 2nd round 1-1. There was discussions on career goals and prospects for the role. Sadly, I was not selected for final round. Was definitely looking forward to the job.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Raymond Low Organisation in July 2024
Interview
I applied through a job portal and I had an interview scheduled 1 day later. To be honest, I was taken aback by the efficiency of the recruiting firm in liaising the interview and getting the documents ready for me. Day before the interview, I received an email with the hiring company's information, a Zoom link, and my recruiter was kind enough to attach the JD to help me prepare for the interview.
Round 1 - mood was casual, not tense because there was another candidate with me. About 5 generic questions asked. Personally feels like an introductory session.
Round 2 - learnt more details about the position and the interviewer evaluated me with more in-depth questions, going through topics like my expectations for the role, my career goals and expected salary. Feels like a "get to know you better" session.
Round 3 - conducted in-person. The interviewer (management level) explained to me on the company's working culture, visions and goals. The interviewer gave me a summary on my personality assessment and interview performance. I was offered 2 roles - a fixed pay marketing executive role or a variable-income financial consultancy work. I was told to revert my decision in 1 week.
It was sad and unfortunate that I had to put off my job search due to unforeseen personal obligations. Despite this, I was grateful that I went through the interview process with Raymond Low Organization. During this 2 weeks, I had learnt something and received patient guidance and advice.
