      Sales Manager Interview

      17 Aug 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Liverpool, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Rayware (Liverpool, England)

      Interview

Two long interviews/chats with the head of sales. Very last minute and disorganised, consisting mostly of a pitch about the company and why it's a great place to work. Presentation (on paper, no projector) in second interview, although keep it simple as common business terms and language are foreign to them. If you want to work here, emphasise trader experience and know that budgets, marketing and strategy are taboo subjects. Also, there is a ban on post it notes, as a whim from the owner.
