Razorhorse Capital interview questions

Applied online. The following week, I received a request to complete an online assessment from the recruiter. The online assessment tested my math, English, and pattern recognition abilities. It was like an SAT test. There were 50 questions to complete in 15 minutes, which typically is not long enough to complete all 50 questions. I finished roughly 85% of the test. Three days later, I received a generic rejection email from the recruiter. It seems they share the test with anyone who applies for a job and then review candidate resumes after completing the test, which is unprofessional to waste a candidate's time with an assessment before even determining if their background is a potential fit. Most companies don't know, but they need to follow certain rules when sending tests. Pre-employment tests should be validated (like making sure they actually test what's needed for the job) to be sure they measure the right skills or knowledge for the job. I'm fairly certain Razorhorse's test has not been validated to assess HR professionals. How many pieces of lettuce are needed to sell 50 burgers or how many jackets are sold if they're on a 40% sale does not evaluate my ability to streamline the hiring/onboarding process, revamp performance reviews, improve employee development, etc. You know, the stuff that's actually written in their own job description. Bombing math questions just meant I didn't have access to a calculator or Excel. I'm dismayed at their narrow view of candidates.
