I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Reach Financial in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process was pretty standard: recruiter screen, HM interview, technical challenge, and then culture fit/STAR question panel interview. The process was spearheaded by their primary recruiter Lindsay, who provided ample information ahead of each step, and ensured the following round was scheduled promptly after being moved forward. I always felt engaged and excited throughout the interview process, and I thought it was one of the best I've been through!

Question 1
Can you walk me through a project that was, in your opinion, the most successful you've worked on? What made it successful?
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Reach Financial in Dec 2024
Interview
After my initial interview with a recruiter, the process moved very quickly, taking about three weeks in total. The second round focused on a combination of behavioral questions and my professional experience. The third round was a systems design interview, followed by a coding interview in the fourth round. This coding interview was based on real-world scenarios rather than typical Leetcode-style questions, which made the experience more enjoyable for me. The fifth and final round was with the CTO.
Throughout the process, the recruiter was highly responsive, even though I was interviewing during the holiday season. One consistent aspect of all my interviews at Reach was how incredibly kind and respectful everyone was. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the entire experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Reach Financial (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2023
Interview
I got a DM through LinkedIn from a recruiter at Reach Financial. I shared my resume and had an initial call. At the end of the call, we scheduled a Zoom meeting with the director of engineering. However, an hour after the meeting was scheduled, it got canceled, and the recruiter stopped responding to me. It was a really unprofessional experience. If you didn't want my service, you should have let me know that I'm not the right person. You should NOT ghost candidates that you initially screened through a phone call.
