Was headhunted by their talent manager for a role that had just been created. Had a first stage telephone interview and was told I’d hear back within 5 days with feedback. I was ghosted and 3 days later the role advert went live on linked in. Clearly I was rejected from the role and that is fine if I’m not the right person, but if I have been approached, the least I expect is to be told I’m unsuccessful. I expect this from agency recruitment, not internal talent teams. This gives a clear indication of culture…think I dodged a bullet.
