Please note this was not for an interview. A number of candidates applied for a senior publishing associate role that was available from 10th June 2019. I had applied over the weekend, there were only 5 applicants after a week. After 2/3 weeks there were approx 20 or so. The recruiter I went through had submitted my CV to the company and it went through their HR/hiring software. They give a username or passcode to check your profile during the application phase. Tried logging in, it didn't work, the recruiter mentioned it was probably unnecessary to check. So, left it. There was no word or feedback from RB to the recruiter and was the same after 4 weeks, then nearly two months down the line, still no word. I had checked the HR/hiring system again, the site was then down for maintenance or some issue. By this time it was obvious they were not going to get back to the recruiter, which the recruiter confirmed (job may have been advertised or taken internally). However, this was pretty pathetic with no word or feedback on an already submitted CV and application, going through the inital phase. This was not just me, so this is not an entitlement rant, they let down their other applicants as well who may have been waiting to hear how their job application was going... (confirmed by recruiter other applicants had not heard anything either). Complete waste of time. Also note, below fields have been field only based on what's been mentioned, there is no were else to put it.
