The interview process with Recorded Future was by far the best I have ever experienced in my career. Every person I dealt with was very friendly and the process was transparent throughout: - One of their internal recruiters contacted me on LinkedIn regarding the role of Intelligence Consultant. Already in this first contact the personal touch, describing why they think I could be a good fit for the role and other details stood out in a positive way. - Soon after I had an initial screening call with a senior recruiter who checked my basic suitability for the role, told me about the company and its culture and described the next steps in detail. - Next up was a technical interview with the hiring manager (see Interview Questions below). Besides talking about skills and experience, it was about getting a sense of what the role is and if that aligned with my expectations. - My next interview was with a Senior Manager. We had a friendly and open conversation about what I would bring to the company, about his management style and how I preferred to be managed, etc. - An interview with a Senior Director. This focused on company culture, management styles, diversity, etc. - A 90-minute technical demonstration on Recorded Future's platform in front of a panel of consultants, managers and directors, incl. a Q&A. Besides showcasing my knowledge of the platform and my presentation skills, this was again a chance to get to know the company and for them to get to know me. - Verbal offer - Reference check, background checks, etc. Overall, the process involved many steps and to ace the technical demo I had to put in the work (which I enjoyed a lot!), but it was very efficient, everything was clearly communicated and by the time I received the verbal offer, I felt like I knew the team and got a genuine insight into Recorded Future's culture and work. Very excited to be a Futurist soon!
