I interviewed at Red Ten NYC

      Interview

even after the first interview, i walked out and forgot it because i didnt understand or processed it with the manager's accent... i didnt go to the second interview. I already had my doubts before the first interview but went anyways because i was around the neighborhood. The area 1150 6th ave (i was not aware they moved multiple times within a year...) was sketchy itself. they are located on the 5th floor and when you entered, the sign is for a photocopying company or something like that. nothing says redten on it. everyone peeked in to see if they were in the right place. The receptionist was very nice, which got us in and had music on, made you think "a fun environment with music at the reception, friendly receptionist and smiles everywhere" The interview was exactly like everyone said. It was 10 minutes, barely much questions and i got a call in 3 hours for a second interview. It wasnt even an office. The manager that interviewed me had nothing on his desk except a laptop and there were flies around. How can you be a manager and not have a proper office? "The first interview is very basic. They will sit you down and ask about your resume and such. It seems fine up until this point. They will try to schedule a second interview right after the first interview. The second interview is not a regular interview. They will tell you to be free from 12-8pm. So basically a whole day" 100% AGREED i did more research and heard about how they plop u in brooklyn for 8 hours to do sales and u dont get paid for it. That is illegal, to work and not get paid for it. Training counts as work, even if it is just shadowing, because it is on your own time and during work time as well. I even asked about the second "interview" and was told it was a "day will be a chance for you to find out more about the role and the services we provide for our clients and observe the on-site sales we do. We’ll look to make final decisions by the end of the day." That means that you werent even hired, yet they were going to train/ observe you? Why call this an interview then? Wasting 8 hours of your time when you might not even get a callback? They did share the same office as Thehenrygroup which is a scam company who did the same thing. However, even with their new moved location, i read the same reviews on redten. therefore it is redten as well. They might had changed, but from the previous review below was just a month ago matched exactly my experience and previous posts that were posted months ago as well....
