I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Reddit in July 2024
Interview
I applied online and got a called from a recruiter talking about my past experience. After that, it was a technical interview on building a ML model, it's pretty straightforward and at the end there are some follow up questions. Then it's an onsite round where you will have 4 interviews: 2 on DSA (not LC), one Q&A on ML and one behaviour interviews.
In some technical interview, interviewer may ask you some behaviour questions before going into the technical part, keep your answer short or it will eat up your time on technical part.
You will get a result the next few days but don't expect recruiter would give you any feedback.

Interview
the first round is to build a model given a dataset, then moved to onsite including pair coding, ML system design, project deep dive with hiring manager, and ML knowledge
I completed the initial coding round for reddit. I have done many interviews and I can confidently say this was the best performance I've had in any interview. It was a modeling type question, I finished so quickly that we ended up also doing a full systems design question after. I waited for my recruiter to get back to me, after following up she said i did very well but the spot was filled so she is going to look for other roles within the company for me to complete the onsite. I have followed up 5 times on email and messaged her on linkedin and she has completely ghosted me. Completely unproffessional. Avoid at all costs!
I received a wait email from the recruiter while they are reviewing applications. The recruiter got back to me and said that the role had been filled and to apply to similar roles in the future.
