I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Redgate Software in Mar 2025
Interview
The process was overall very professional, serious and polite. Every step of the process was explained clearly including the goals, format and duration of the calls and who was going to be interviewing. There was a genuine interest in finding the right fit and a lot of precision in the interviews, but also a warm professional approach and genuinely engaged interviewers. Although I did not get the job, it left a very positive impression especially given the unpleasant hiring practices that we can see elsewhere these days. Redgate appeared much more respectful, real and thoughtful in their approach.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Redgate Software (Cambridge, England) in June 2025
Interview
Had an initial call with the recruiter and then had a skills alignment interview with the hiring manager and another member of the PMM team. The skills alignment interview was formal and formulaic and it was clear interviewers were looking for answers that fit the STAR model and scoring based on that throughout the call.

I was asked to provide detailed answers to situations from previous experience. Feedback post interview was that I didn’t go into the level of detail they were looking for.
