The interview process has two stages: one in which you give a speech to the student body about why you would be a good leader, and after which they vote for a few people they believe would be good in the role. Afterwards, you get selected for an interview with the Head of the school, head of high school, grade head, head of student well-being and the previous year's student president and vice-president.

Question 1
How I would deal with conflict within the leadership team
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Redhill School (Johannesburg) in Apr 2020
Interview
2 rounds, focus on culture, final round with executive principal and others on the panel. More of a discussion without a massive focus on CV. Good feedback in a timeous fashion.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Redhill School in Mar 2023
Interview
It was thorough and competitive. The day started with a written task (marking papers), which was followed by a presentation (you had to explain how you marked the papers and why, next steps etc.). Then, there was an observed lesson (the students behaved very well and worked well). Finally, a panel interview.
