I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Redis (Bengaluru) in Nov 2024
Interview
It comprised of 5 rounds... First HR round, Hiring manager round, 4 hr long technical assessment (nothing less than a headache), presentation round, Another round, HR round.. Then they say there are restructuring going on and redis is not doing well so will not be able to roll out offer. Though you were super super good... These guys don't have ethics... Worst HR, worst process...later I got to know they just take interviews for fake openings... Avoid yourself from such thugs... I wanted to say such strong words but it's not a platform to say so... FAKE...
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Redis in June 2025
Interview
I want to share this as a clear warning to others. I was contacted by a member of the recruitment team for an Azure Redis Solutions Architect role. I was upfront from the start — I have no experience with Redis or Azure — so I was baffled as to why they reached out in the first place. The recruiting POC dismissed my concerns, saying it wasn’t an issue, and scheduled a call that was supposed to be 10-15 minutes. Instead, it turned into a 30-minute ramble that added no value. Next came a call with the HM, who was visibly uninterested and seemed to just be waiting for the clock to run out. I was asked a few technical questions and some situational STAR based questions. I once again pointed out my lack of relevant experience, only to be told, ‘Don’t worry about that, we can train you.’ The so-called next steps? A take-home assignment and a panel interview. I was told to expect follow-up from the recruiter — and then I was completely ghosted. This wasn’t about not moving forward; it was about the utter disregard for my time and the arrogance shown throughout the process. Be warned: don’t expect professionalism or basic courtesy from these folks. And don’t be surprised if you’re ghosted too.
Straightforward interview process consisting of a recruiter screen, behavioral interview, technical interview, take home assignment, and a panel interview. The process took about 4 weeks and my recruiter gave feedback and notes after every stage of the interview process which was helpful.
