I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Refurbed in Jan 2022
Interview
After 1 month of interviews, including a take-home technical challenge, there was a plot twist. They offered me a position as a plain developer. I was aiming at being a Tech Lead, which is what the recruiter promised when he contacted me. And what's worse, they took a full month to complete this deception, hoping that making a good economic effort would justify and somehow erase my motivation. They maybe thought money would "put me in my place"? Insulting.

Question 1
They presented slides in different programming languages, asking "what would you change?"
They did send a take-home technical challenge but they seemed to ignore it, and they went for a crazy 1.5 hours of 3 people firing away questions. They took a full week to provide feedback.
