I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Regis College (Weston, MA) in July 2015
Interview
I applied online. Not long after I was asked to do a phone interview with a member of the undergraduate admission team. Phone interview went very well. After the phone interview I was asked to come in for an in-person interview with multiple people back-to-back. I met with the admissions team, the director of marketing/communications, a vice president, and finally the director of admissions. The interview went very well - conversation flowed easily. I never heard back after the interview. It took emailing the director three separate times before he let me know that I did not get the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was given an exercise ahead of the interview and asked to prepare a 3-5 minute presentation: "You will be asked to describe the communication strategy that you would use for our upcoming EVENT. There is no need to bring supplemental materials. We are more concerned with your ability to present a clear and concise approach to an admission related program."
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Regis College (Weston, MA)
Interview
I got called into the office and basically they wanted me to explain what I liked and disliked at Regis at the time. The position was to make phone calls to students and alumnae to try and get donations. The person talked about how making telephone calls was an important aspect of the position and how comfortable I was with that. She was nice but seemed to be wanting me to almost say bad things about Regis so she could tell how I really felt and see if I would say anything bad about it to potential donors...god forbid! I was also told there was a script to read in order to call donors and ask for money. It was when I was a student there and this was a new position.
