I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Remote (Split) in Apr 2025
Interview
I had a really positive experience interviewing at Remote, even though I wasn’t selected for the final stage.
The recruiter I worked with was not only kind and pleasant, but also incredibly thorough, transparent, and patient with any follow-up questions I had. Everyone I spoke with during the process - including the hiring manager and two teammate - was genuinely lovely and made the interviews feel like real conversations, not evaluations.
The process itself was somewhat lengthy (I went through four steps including a take-home assignment), but communication was proactive and clear every step of the way. Expectations were always set in advance, and I never felt left in the dark.
While they ended up moving forward with other candidates, the rejection I received was kind, detailed, and clearly left the door open for future opportunities. I really appreciated the empathy and thoughtfulness the team showed throughout and I would gladly apply again for a role at this company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- How would I deal with competing priorities and last minute changes
- How would I communicate incidents and legal changes (for example, which channels would I use)
- The practical assignment was an actual example from what would be my day-to-day job and doing it gave me a great sense of what the role entails
