I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Remote Year (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2019
Interview
Extremely protracted interview process that spanned 3 months. Early part of the process was a phone interview, followed by multiple video interviews with different managers over succeeding weeks. Next came reference submissions, and then a final phone chat with one of the senior leaders. At this point the process became very unprofessional; I emailed to set up a couple of different time options for the call but never heard back, except for a few direct texts at 7:00 in the morning to see if I could chat in 20 minutes at that time. Upon following up further,I never heard back a second time and then never got a reply from any message I sent via any medium (email, linked in) to the several people that I had already spoken with (thank yous and clarification of next steps). The process was ghosting to the extreme after 3 months of interviewing and reaching the final round. They appear to be in early stage company with no discernible organization or structure in the interview process, with a strong dose of unprofessionalism as well in the latter stages. Be forewarned.
Thank you for your feedback. We work to be transparent that sometimes our timelines change, and it is certainly not our intention for anyone to come away from RY with feelings such as the ones you're describing. We strive to always grow and get better as we move forward, so your feedback is appreciated.

Interview
A 20-minute video interview via Zoom that started with an HR representative explaining in brief the position - work schedule, team dynamics, etc. Overall, an okay process but I felt 20 mins was too short for the company to get to know me and my background.

Interview
4 part interview....3 via web conference with another assignment asking you to "pitch" RY following 2 prompts. If you are a POC don't waste your time. RY doesn't have any on their staff and will not hire you
