RemotePass interview questions

I had a few interviews and then didn't hear back for over a week. I followed up about the position and was told I was no longer being considered. I guess the plan was to ghost me like other candidates have reported here.

I had a smooth and pleasant first interview with the HR manager. The conversation covered the basics — my background, remote work experience, location, and salary expectations. One thing that caught me off guard: the position is a contractor role, not a full-time employment contract. For a company whose entire product is built around helping businesses hire people compliantly across borders, offering contractor agreements to their own team feels a bit contradictory. Overall a positive experience with the interviewer, but worth knowing upfront before you apply.
