I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Renesas (Singapore) in June 2012
Interview
There are 2x interviewers, and series of general questions were raised. The questions raised were generally from the resume and previous employments. Not too challenging. After weeks of waiting, a 2nd interview was called, whereby the center manager went through another general series of questions. Perhaps more to ascertain the character types of questioning.
They have outsourced the talent acquisition. They work with recruiters. The first contact with HR was great. The interview with the hiring manager was like an exam - very technical
Was good and exciting. Had a good two way communication. It was conducted via online. Ms Teams. But, at times the connection was poor so it was quite stressfull and scary haha
I applied online. I interviewed at Renesas (New York, NY) in Aug 2022
Interview
I applied to a role here and was contacted about a month later to interview. Much to my dismay the interview was rushed and lasted less than 5 minutes. Barely had a chance to ask a question or two after the interview as the recruiter seemed to have other business to tend to and was trying to get me off the phone.
If a company is that dismissive n don't give the time of day for candidates, it's likely telling of the organization in other facets as well.
