      Interview

This was probably one of the worst interview processes I've ever had. ** This company is now rebranded as Upbound** I had 4 interviews with this company - (1) recruiter, (2)leadership, (3)Team, (4) Case Study & Team Interview. First red flag - The recruiter confirmed an interview with leadership and never sent the Zoom links. So, my interview had to be rescheduled. Second red flag - One of the managers asked me a strange question, " If a job offer was not available, would you be moving to Texas." The recruiter told me prior to meeting with this group that they'd just hired 2 employees from another state. So, I'm not sure why this was a question. People relocate for jobs all the time and it seemed super unprofessional and personal. Third Red Flag - The 3rd interview was turned into two separate interviews which I had to rearrange my entire schedule for. Fourth Red Flag - I was given a 15 minute overview for a case study and only given 30 minutes to complete it. I know this is not normally their process because an Instructional Designer previously posted on Glassdoor that they give you up to 48 hours to complete it. The manager who gave me the overview was all over the place and ran into the allotted time I had to complete the case. He also didn't send me the information to my email, so I had nothing to refer back to but my notes. I presented a pretty solid presentation despite not having any time to do it or any materials to work with. Fifth red flag - They ghosted me. To be honest, after 4 interviews, and 3x having to reschedule due to their organizational skills, I was shocked to say the least. The least you could do was send an email or have the recruiter call.

      Interview

The process included a quick phone screener, a 30 minute virtual interview with managers, a 2 hour virtual team interview with case study/presentation. The whole process took about 2 weeks. I made it to the final round and received positive feedback on my case study presentation. I was told I would find out something early next week (interviewed end of the week). I never received a response of any kind. I emailed the recruiter and still no response. I was ghosted. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.

      Interview

The overall interview process was unorganized and very unprofessional. I'd like to mention that I am POC. I went through 3 rounds of interviews over the course of 3 weeks. It was supposed to be only 2 round. First red flag, I was never sent the zoom interview links. In fact, my interview was not confirmed with leadership at all despite a confirmation email being sent. During the first interview, I was probed if I would move to Texas if a job offer wasn't available. This question seemed odd and inappropriate. Next red flag was canceling the second interview and breaking it into two separate interviews, basically asking me to rearrange my entire schedule for them again. Next red flag = I knew that I was being treated differently because I looked up their interview process for IDs on Glassdoor. The previous IDs were given 24-48 hours to respond to a case. I was given a 15 minute info session with a manager and I was asked to finish the case within 40 minutes. The manager ran over the 15 minutes which cut into my time to draw up a quick presentation. They did not give me any additional time. The manager also did not send the case details to my email as he promised. Nevertheless, I presented a pretty solid presentation with evidence based rationale to a panel. The panel asked a few questions. They ghosted me in the end.
