A lovely phone interview (of course.) Then a series of 4 interviews: One with my potential direct report and someone else, one with a project manager, one with the BI guru, and one with the CCO. The CEO even stopped by for a surprise visit. Whatever they had prepared for the interview, I admittedly derailed early every time with my "let's get down to business. what are your pain points and how can I help?" Things were very fun and conversational, and I honestly feel like I got to know every person very well in those brief periods of time. This was honestly the best interview experience I've had to date. My personal life didn't allow for accepting this job at this time, but I hope our paths cross again in the future.
