I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Replit (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Scheduled an onsite interview and had to pay for everything upfront, was told that I shouldn't stay in too expensive of a place, $150/night in a hotel is a standard price, and then only paid for a part of my bills. Also, the interview was cancelled the night before it was suppose to take place. Not worth applying, they can't cover standard expenses in the interview process and don't inform their candidates early enough of a cancelled interview.

Question 1
Nothing, since they cancelled it before it could take place.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Replit (Foster City, CA)
Interview
The process was pretty straightforward and enjoyable. Everyone I spoke to was nice and they all seemed excited about Replit and the work they were doing, It consisted of a recruiter screen, a hiring manager screen, and then an onsite loop at their office.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Replit (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2025
Interview
I had a behavioral interview first, then an online assessment. The behavioral interview was several questions about the past projects I had worked on, why I want to work at Replit, etc.

Question 1
One coding question was about operation transformation. Another is doing basic API calls and data manipulation.
It was a standard behavioral interview, they mostly asked about what I know about replit and the projects I had on my resume. Overall it was not too hard of an interview
