ResearchGate Senior Software Engineer PHP interview questions

First skype interview was conducted after 1 week of applying. Skype interview was total technical and two of their devs participated inside it. Then they gave me a code test. After submitting the code test i got a rejection email saying "After a long consideration of your skills, level, and the very specific requirements of the position itself, we have decided that we cannot offer you a position with us at the moment. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed talking to you and we would like to thank you again for your time and interest in ResearchGate." . They rejected my application because of my high expected salary.
