I applied through other source. I interviewed at Restore Hyper Wellness (San Antonio, TX) in June 2026
Interview
I am sharing my experience as an interviewee, as I believe constructive feedback is valuable for any organization.
I arrived 15 minutes early, prepared and enthusiastic. Upon arrival, I was greeted briefly and asked to wait — which I was happy to do. However, during that wait, the manager appeared occupied with her phone rather than preparing for our scheduled interview.
The tour that preceded the interview felt rushed, and when I asked genuine questions about the role and facility, the responses came across as impatient and dismissive. I was genuinely excited about the opportunity and simply wanted to learn more.
Once we sat down for the interview, the manager acknowledged she had not reviewed my resume and did not have it available. The interview consisted of approximately three standard questions and lasted roughly 10 minutes, during which we were interrupted twice. When I mentioned that I am bilingual and could assist with patient communication, the response I received felt competitive rather than welcoming — a simple acknowledgment of that skill would have gone a long way.
At the close of the interview, I was given a clear commitment to receive a follow-up by Monday, June 8th, regardless of the outcome. I followed up by phone, text (her preferred method), and email — none of which received a response.
My feedback for improvement: please come prepared to interviews with the candidate's resume, honor the follow-up commitments you make, and treat candidates with the same professionalism you would expect in return. Candidates take time off, prepare, and invest emotionally in these opportunities. If a decision has already been made, a simple, timely communication is always the respectful choice.
I wish the team well and hope this feedback contributes to a better experience for future candidates.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Tell me about yourself
2. Asked about previous employer
3. Asked if I would go back to previous employer
I went through several interviews consisting of a phone screening 2 virtual, and 2 in-person interviews. Meeting the marketing and franchise managers was a great experience although I did not end up getting an offer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Restore Hyper Wellness (Portland, OR) in Nov 2023
Interview
It was easy - one online interview, one in-person. They mainly asked questions about where I see myself in the next few years and why I want to work at Restore.
