Interview
Process took about week. Had a phone screen with a very nice recruiter, then went straight to a discussion with their CTO. He gave me some basic details about engineering @ Revive, answered some of my questions about their tech stack and their processes, then proceeded to let me talk about some of my most recent experiences. Except not really - upon bringing up a certain project I worked on, I was cut off to go and asked to go into further detail on that one thing, (out of 2 dozen or so points of interest on my resumé), so I did. When describing the last aspect of this project, I mentioned that we designed it with extensibility in mind so that another developer could easily come in and add additional functionality. I was then weirdly asked what nuget package I would leverage to make this extensibility piece work if I were to rebuild again. Points off for not knowing this nuget package by name I guess, but the point is the package was never needed in the first place - what I built utilized a design pattern that alreadyadd it extensible. I was then asked to describe improvements between .NET versions from 5 to 8. Points for not reviewing the release notes from .NET versions 5 and 7 that are literally already out-of-support I guess. I was notified 10 minutes after the call they would not be going forward with me.
Bottom line - poor line of questioning that didn't even begin to scratch of what I've done or what I could have offered them. This goes to show that the fact you are already at the company doesn't mean you make for a good interviewer.

Interview
Overall fairly quick, about 2 weeks total.
I went through a screen and interview with hiring manager, the VP of Engineering. That's right, report direct to VP.
Like the org-chart, their process and meetings are very light. They are looking for seniors who can deliver with a minimum of team communication, 80+% heads-down coding. Present yourself accordingly.

Interview
The interviewer jumped right into her set list of questions without introducing herself or giving a quick overview of the company or the role. I had no idea if she was an actual recruiter or someone from another team (interview requests were sent from her personal gmail account.) The questions were mostly about compliance and following HR rules rather than developing a growing, engaged, and productive workforce. The interviewer didn't give me any time to ask questions, either.
