I drove over 1hr 30min one way to meet with the team for an interview that did not happen due to their own scheduling issue. Was "scheduled" to meet with the director for a virtual interview the next day and she never showed up to that interview either. After waiting 2 hours in the waiting room I finally reached out and was told I would hear back on rescheduling the interview just to never hear back even after reaching out to the director directly. I finally received a generic email saying someone else was hired. It's a shame that companies think it is okay to give potential candidates such a horrible experience and not even offer any type of apology for wasting their time two days in a row. So glad I dodged a bullet because their HR team is not organized. Rule #1 Always ensure a good candidate experience. Hopefully the candidate selected will be able to work with a mismanaged team that clearly needs to be realigned.
