I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ricki's in Oct 2012
Interview
It was a long interview, at least half an hour. You don't have to wear their clothes but wear trendy business clothes. Know about their target audience and their company. The manager was nice but the other sales associates were cliquey and didn't let the new girls in or get many sales.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Ricki's (Surrey, BC) in May 2023
Interview
Quick interview, hired on the spot about 4 questions. Mostly took a look at my resume and asked me to describe my experiences. Asked me how I am with communication and if I have a business background. Asked me how I would deal with a difficult customer. Got hired on the spot and did some training the same day.
Dropped off a resume in store, called for an interview 2-3 days later.
Interview was about 20 mins in length, mostly standard questions (tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here, etc). Many customer-service based questions as well (a customer comes out of the fitting room, what do you say, etc)
