I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ripple (Mumbai) in Apr 2019
Interview
Unprofessional from the get-go, Got a message from HR on LinkedIn on which I replied, and then he forgets about the message only after my followup he sends me a meeting invite to discuss the role. Later he sends me a Backend development test very simple Spring boot based application. The recruiter sends the code to the hiring manager and then he looks at my profile in detail since I also have front end development skills like react he askes me make front end app as well. After this, an interview is scheduled. Questions in the interview were completely vague nothing specific. Result of the interview is I get rejected because of the skills that I have not mentioned in the resume like Java reflection based framework development and spark and Kafka. So if I have 15 skills and they rejected because of 2 other skills which I don't have, neither have I mentioned them in my resume. I don't know what they saw in profile when they shortlisted it if they are so keen on those 2 skills they wouldn't have contacted me and saved my time building meaningless apps for them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am so sorry to hear that you had a poor interview experience. For a little bit of context, this was a new role and you were, most likely, one of the first candidates who was interviewed so there could have been some adjusting that needed to happen on our end with the interview process. A candidate's experience is very important to us and we certainly do not excuse any actions that caused you to feel like you wasted your and I've shared this feedback with the hiring team so in the future this does not occur again. Thank you.
