The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rise People (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
I had to go through four rounds of interviews including doing a presentation for a role that paid well below market rates. I'm not sure why you would make candidates put in hours of work to create a PowerPoint, then pretend like it's not up to your lofty standards while only paying 70k for a product manager role. Hate to break it to you but you are not Google.

Question 1
How would you prioritize between many competing requests for features?

Interview
I had previously come across comments about this company and had hoped they were subjective; however, my experience aligned with the concerns raised. Following initial contact from HR about scheduling a phone interview, there was a lack of proactive follow-up on their part, prompting me to take the initiative. Despite a commitment from HR to call me the next day, there was a degree of randomness to the communication. Subsequently, after progressing to the second round of interviews, assurances were given about receiving an update within a week, regardless of the outcome. Unfortunately, I have not received any communication despite my follow-ups. While I understand that not every application is successful, it is disheartening when commitments are not honored. I believe in the professionalism of the recruitment process and urge for adherence to promises as it is integral to the integrity of the profession.

Introduct yourself. Why us? Introduce your previous projects.

Interview
Very frantic and unprofessional recruiting. Might have had 6 phone conversations with the HR person, but only two interviews. Somehow there was 3 emergencies which is possible during my interviews. I was even called from HR while they were in their car. Then my 3rd interview was cancelled 1 hr before my 9am interview....due to a technical emergency. Looks like a ton of bad reviews here anyway but I really needed the job during covid. Pretty happy i'm not working there. In a normal situation I would totally skip the place
