Interview
Applied online, got a call the next morning. Briefly chatted about why I wanted the job then was invited to an interview a couple of weeks later. The HR lady I was meant to have the interview with was unavailable so instead I had it with a regional manager. It was basically all CV based, they also asked me what I knew about recruitment. Weird question they asked was "who is your hero?" To which you're meant to answer "my parents". The interviewer looked at me weird when I didn't give him this answer. They also ask where do you see yourself in 5 years time, how can you prove that you won't quit this job after a day? Bit weird as well, don't know how you can predict the future. If I could I wouldn't be working at Rise as I'd be a billionaire 😂
They told me they don't hire based on experience, only on skills and potential. Despite this they sent me a rejection email two days later saying they wouldn't hire me as I had no sales experience. I'm quite annoyed at this as nowhere on my CV did I claim I had sales experience so why did they interview me in the first place? Waste of my time, wouldn't bother again.

Interview
submitted application then had a phone screening which led to an in person interview, once I arrived in person i then did a test on a laptop. when I had finished that I then had an interview with 2 managers for about 40 mins where they questioned my GCSE's (I am 23), said that recruitment was not sales so my sales experience had no bearing. then criticised the fact that i said i had sales experience as it wasn't anything like sales apparently, they had known i had travelled down from Cardiff, felt like they had only just looked at my CV as i arrived and decided before the interview that they weren't going to hire so decided to dress me down for a bit
A couple of phone calls. A zoom call with a manager who went more in-depth about personality traits and experiences in the past. Heading into the office for a more formal interview and to answer more questions in detail.

Interview
two stage interview, first stage was with two people, more of a discussion, they like to put you under slight pressure, understandably as they want to see how you would deal with it. just keep your cool as you would in a professional environment and you will be fine. second interview was with of the co directors, he was a little intimidating and wanted to know my motivations so i had to prove i was determined, again some slight pressure but if you stay controlled its fine
