I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at River Island in Sept 2015
Interview
I arrived to the store and we were told to wait in a group near the shoe section to be taken to the staff room. When we got there we sat around two tables and were told to tell everyone a little bit about ourselves. Then we were left to talk to each other for around 10-15 minutes. After that we were put into groups of two and carried out role plays on what we thought was good customer service.
She then asked for our availability and which department we would like to work on best. The interview was supposed to last two hours but only lasted for around 50 minutes and none of use were asked any questions at all. Overall I actually really enjoyed the interview.

My interview was done online with an ai bot who asks you questions. I answered them but I don’t think the questions are the same for everyone. But I did my best and in my opinion interviews online is better than face to face.
