I applied online. I interviewed at River Island in Dec 2015
Interview
Applied online and was invited to an interview. About 15 people there with 3 staff members asking questions such as 'if you were a sweet what would you be' etc and checked all our documentation. Then in pairs we had to 'sell' a product to our partners in front of the entire group. We indicated when we would be available. There wasn't really a chance to stand out. They said they would be in touch within a week. This is about 13th December. I finally was told they weren't progressing with my application. Well it was supposed to be a Christmas job, and I got that second email on 7th January. Very bad experience.

Interview
It was a group interview - six of us were there in my case. We had to answer a few questions, and were tasked with putting together an outfit for a celebrity and talk about what we chose which I found quite fun.

Interview
Group interview with around 15 people. First introduced ourselves with an interesting fact and then were taught some history of the franchise. We then were split into groups and were asked to feedback on general ideas of why we wanted to work for River Island. Then were split up into twos and did a short role playing scenario before finishing. Whole process took about 1 hr 15 mins.
