I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Riverside.FM
Interview
I interviewed for a Customer Success Manager (SMB) role and had a really smooth experience from start to finish! The process had 5 rounds over the span of a week.
1. Initial recruiter screen
2. Hiring manager interview
3. Demo/presentation round with the hiring manager and Director of CS
4. HR conversation
5. Final interview with the VP of Customer Success
Communication throughout was fast, clear, and consistent. I never had to chase anyone for updates, which isn't always the case in interview processes. The recruiting team was organized and made sure I knew what to expect at each stage, which took a lot of the usual interview anxiety out of the equation. Every interviewer was genuinely engaged and asked thoughtful questions that made me feel heard. Overall, it felt like a company that respects candidates' time and takes hiring seriously. Would recommend!

Question 1
- Why do you want to work at Riverside?
- Walk me through your background and experience in Customer Success
- Behavioural questions focused on organization, process, approaching customers, and how I manage day-to-day workflows
The interview process at Riverside was smooth from start to finish.
From the first touchpoint, it was conversational and genuinely two-way. I felt that they took the time to get to know me as a candidate and it gave me a window into the org.
My recruiter, Kourtney, was efficient, warm and responsive throughout. She went above and beyond to set me up for success as a candidate at each stage. She was always reachable, open to questions and took time to give details on next steps.
I also appreciated the chance to meet people at multiple levels of the organization. It gave me a real feel for the role, the team, and the culture and made me confident in my decision to join.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Riverside.FM (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2025
Interview
Interviewing for a CSM position at Riverside was a great experience overall. The conversations were collaborative and focused on problem solving rather than just “checking boxes.” I left every interview feeling more curious about the product, team's future vision, and overall approach to CS. The first screening call was more high level, the managerial interview and assignment were definitely more in depth.
