I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rivian (San Diego, CA) in May 2021
Interview
The interview process did not go well. The first issue with the interview was the original time made via an internal scheduling system was missed by the interviewer. She did not call nor follow up. This being a Friday. I had to wait until the next week for them to respond and reschedule. The individual conducting the interview should not be in that role. Her inability to comprehend simple scenarios or experiences was frustrating. She discussed three different options for the role that turned out to be two. When discussing my past pay she waited until the end to circle back and continue the discussion. The position was not on the same level of pay but also wasn't far off. I felt as if she was trying to talk me out of pursuing the job. I also used terminology referenced points exclusive to the company. Only to have zero response as if she was unfamiliar with the points I touched on. The individual never followed up as promised and two weeks later a standard rejection letter arrived.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rivian in Mar 2023
Interview
Applied online and received a follow up for a phone screen a few hours later. The recruiter that called me was so unprofessional, she left me with a bittersweet taste about the company. I couldn't ask any questions and just hang up on me after she gave her speech about the position. The interview lasted 15 minutes at most. I'm not new to the interview world, I've been doing it for a while and this recruiter didn't even give a chance to showcase my abilities. I was just a number that she needed to add to her list. Very dissapointing

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rivian (Kansas City, MO) in Feb 2022
Interview
A recruiter from Rivian reached out to me, wanting to set up an interview. After a few basic questions over email, they sent across a bundle of NDAs and other documents to sign.
The interview process itself was relatively painless, being remote with a couple of Rivian representatives. Ultimately, the role wasn't a good fit, and I declined further interviews.
