Wuestion about PLC, how that works. Excersise of what type of sensor that will implemented on a specific scenario.

Very bad experience. Out of 5 one on ones two of them including hiring manager did not show up!! The other 3 interviews where very straightforward. Some basic questions nothing difficult. One of the interviewers was complaining about the work in Rivian and how things are not organized!! I was able to answer all their questions and seemed like they were satisfied with the response based on their feedback during the interview. Surprisingly, the recruiter schedules a meeting with me to say that they are not going to pursue the next steps (not sure why they schedule a meeting to say no). The recruiter was like I can go back and talk to the team again (are you serious?!!!). Not sure they know what they are doing. Overall, very disorganized process from start to finish.

First interview: Behavioral questions
Second interview: Basic SW questions like how do you implement a controller? Although, the interviewer mentioned he does not know much about this role and he will be asking some general questions!!
Third interview: Kalman filter related question.

Interview
The interview process was quick and the interview was not difficult at all but the problem is the team themselves don't really know what they are looking for. The recruiter and other team members were very good but the manager seemed rude. I know best of the best candidates being rejected just because he/she did not match with the Rivian culture. And to add to that they will not reply whether you were accepted or rejected without sending them a follow up email.
