      Interview

My interview process took place entirely over Google Meets due to the pandemic. I interviewed with about five people total, on three different days, over the course of a week or two. Each person who I interviewed with was so kind, and the conversations felt so inspiring and organic. The interview process was so pleasant and each person I spoke with made me feel more and more excited about the company. I truly felt like even if I wasn't extended an offer, I was going to be a huge supporter of Ro just because of the kind of people I spoke with and the mission of the company.

      Interview

Let me save you the time; do not waste yours. Imagine this: you’re over qualified, you go through six (you read that right, SIX) interviews, you feel like every single one has gone so great, you keep getting amazing feedback, you’re more than confident you have the position after your “final”….. and then you get an email stating they aren’t moving forward with you. I got feedback that didn’t make any sense whatsoever. They said “they were nervous because you mentioned moving up.” Uh, they asked how Ro fit into my long term goals and I simply said I would love to grow with the company and *eventually* get into training. That’s the silliest thing I have ever heard! Ro: restructure. There is NO reason all of these people (yes, I know it’s a lot) should be devoting that much time to you for you to just shut them down in the end, and I’m sure it’s driving your team insane. You’re turning down quality candidates that had their heart set on you (I turned down two other positions while interviewing), and you don’t even care.

We appreciate that you engaged with us over the course of six interviews and we’re sorry the decision to not move forward was not what you were hoping for. Typically, Member Experience Coordinator candidates do not complete six interviews, however, this cycle we piloted a new method of connecting with candidates and it added a new stage to the process. This feedback was well received by our team and we have made a change to our process already. Moving forward, there will only be three interviews. As for the outcome of your candidacy, we’re happy to chat directly with you about the decision. Please email us at talent@ro.co

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ro (Phoenix, AZ) in Feb 2021

      Interview

I had an initial phone interview with a Ro recruiter which was about 20 minutes long. She was so friendly and encouraging! The phone interview was mainly an overview of my experience and what the position would include. I was emailed that night extending an offer for a second round interview. The next and final step in the interview process was 2 hours long. Over this time you interview with 4-5 different department heads. You learn more about the company and are asked more experience based questions. I was emailed the following day extending their offer!
