I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Robinhood in June 2020
Interview
It doesn't seem like there is a standardized interviewing structure nor are interviewers calibrated to interview. All my questions were either vague or phrased in an awkward way which made it difficult to understand what they were assessing for. The flag for me of an inexperienced interviewer is one that is unable to guide you when you ask for clarity on the question. For example, when one of my interviewers didn't like the answer I gave, they simply restated the question and asked me to try again. I then had to guide the interviewer to articulate what they were looking for.
4 days : 1. Recruiter 2. Product sense 3. Product execution and eng behavioral 4. One pager and tech depth.
You will get a chance to prepare with recruiter.
Not too tough. Prepare and ask clarification questions.
4 Rounds: intro, analytical, product sense, presentation to the whole team. Last round you have to present the project you are most proud of and break it down on how you contributed.

Question 1
What metrics would you track for the Coinbase wallet?
1st call: screening call from recruiter; 2st call: behavioural and product sense; 3rd call: virtual on-site interview, 4-5 interviewers over 2 days. Their interview portal is pretty easy to use.
