After investing 6+ hours in the interview process (a material investment for anyone, particularly when working a demanding current job), this company had the audacity to completely ghost me as a final candidate. Promised contact and next steps by the end of a particular week, and never heard from them again - even with very clear/"lob pass" follow up attempts to, at minimum, close the loop. Not even a generic rejection email, just radio silence.
What a bad look. Any team and company that feels they don’t owe candidates, particularly those applying for senior level roles, the basic professional courtesy of closing the loop says a lot about their culture and is not one I want to work for — so in addition to a few other red flags that popped up in the process, I consider this opportunity a greatly dodged bullet.
For any prospects reading this, consider yourself warned. For any Robinhood eyes, seriously, do better.
