Poor Candidate Experience Due to Lack of Communication
I applied for a role and was initially shortlisted for the interview process. Multiple interview slots were scheduled; however, the recruiter did not join the calls, and there was no proactive communication regarding cancellations or rescheduling. After several follow-ups and a considerable wait, I was eventually informed that I was no longer being considered for the position due to revised role requirements.
As an HR professional with over 7 years of experience, I understand that hiring requirements can change and that not every candidate can be selected. However, timely communication, transparency, and respect for candidates' time are essential elements of a positive recruitment process.
The organization was responsive once the concern was escalated, which I appreciate. My feedback is primarily directed toward improving candidate communication and interview coordination to provide a better overall experience.
