Initial Phone call about experience and relevant skills to internship. And then technical interview with coding questions and challenges. Technical interview includes answering theoretical questions in software development fundamentals. They will test the depth of your knowledge with many questions.
It was pretty smooth. Had a call with the recruiter to explain what the role is about and then a 2 technical round with the manger, one was based in US and other was from the UK office.

Binary search modification Leetcode 162 peak element, asked about projects , this is for a big data role backend engineering . Time complexities and better run time for naive solution
