It’s clear why they need a CPO. I applied for the role, and some time later was advised that I had been shortlisted but they had other candidates in the pipeline and would be in touch in “a week or so”. Having not heard anything further, I emailed asking for an update and have not received a response. I appreciate People teams are busy, but they really need to do better. Interaction as an applicant sets the tone of a company’s culture. The website shouts loudly about their great culture…the recruitment process says otherwise. Whoever is successful in this role clearly has some work to do!
