The interview process was okay. The interviewer seemed to be reading her questions off of a script, but I didn't mind. There was an air informality in the room but I kept it professional. I was called within the next week after the initial interview to meet with the two attorneys for whom I'd be assigned to work with, Secretarial supervisor and the head of HR. I met with them in a fairly large conference room with them sitting the other end of the table facing me. One out of the two attorneys had her questions written down, the other just fed off of her responses. Then the interview went that of talking about pets (can't remember how that segue happened). I met with the two attorneys and head of HR first and then met with the secretarial supervisor. She was pleasant and had great energy. She was letting me know how the office really ran and I was more than appreciative. The interview was before Independence Day weekend. I sent a "Thank You" email that Monday after the holidays. I was told in a reply to my email that a decision will be made by July 15th. When I didn't hear back from them, I emailed on July 19th inquiring about the job. I was told that they still didn't come to a decision as of yet. On July 20th, within the afternoon, an email from the firm came to me saying basically "thanks, but no thanks".
