I applied online. I interviewed at Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Nov 2025
Interview
In May, I was invited to take an assessment, which was online only. Five months later, I got a notice saying I had passed the assessment and was invited to a recorded interview. The interview used an online service that recorded your responses.
The recorded interview was a disaster. It struggled finding my webcam. It erased my initial responses, requiring me to re-record each and every one of my answers. I got a response at the end of January saying that I did "not meet one or more of the assessment criteria." Considering how much of an awful technological experience the recorded interview is, to that I say: Yeah, no kidding. Find a better method to interview and/or assess candidates.

Interview
Very straightforward, reached out and gave an interview in less than a week. Applied through swp in the summer, and they reached out in january for a summer position. Interviewed by two people, one person said nothing and the other conducted the interview
