      Interview

Applied via C-TRAC website for Third Engineer Officer role, I am a UK qualified British officer. Received an offer for a first stage Skype interview within weeks. The first interview was about my current experience level, my ambitions as a marine engineer, what machinery I am already competent with, what I expect from Royal Caribbean and why I want to work for them. I was then invited for a second Skype interview with a Chief Engineer from the company, for a technical competency chat. He asked me about my background in marine engineering and why I wanted to change to large cruise ships. He then asked me about some MARPOL regulations and what I would do in certain situations (nothing too tricky).
