Question 1
what makes you a great candidate for this position?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rugged Races
Interview
I submitted a resume and cover letter online (LinkedIn) to work for one of Rugged Races branches. The company reached out, I had a phone interview, and was then invited for an in-person interview. The interview was 3 hours long given that a big portion was a tour of the facility. After the interview, I followed up the next morning, and never received a response from the company. While I understand if I was not the right fit for this role, I had driven 2 1/2 hours to the interview site and 3 hours back for this interview, as well as spent 3 hours in the interview itself. Hence, I think that out of respect for my time it would have been nice for the company to at least follow up indicating that I wasn't the right fit for the position. I don't think this is a reflection of Rugged Races as a whole, simply one of the branches they represent.
