SAP NS2 Project Manager interview questions

I applied to a posting from a job board. I received a call from an SAP NS2 recruiter. She then setup a time for me to interview with 2 people onsite. I went onsite and interviewed for the project manager role. When I was leaving the interview, they said they didn't have funding yet for the PM position, but they believe they will be able to bring 2-3 PMs onboard. Every few weeks I reached back out to the SAP NS2 recruiter asking for status. She always said they were still working on getting approval for the position. Finally after 3 months when I called to get status, the SAP NS2 recruiter said they didn't know what direction they were going and weren't going to hire. The whole interview was a waist of my time.
