I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at SGL Financial (Albany, NY) in Jan 2018
Interview
I was scouted by one of their employees, promising me that there would be no cold calling nor door to door sales. However, just like other insurance company, this is 100% commission base and they want you to sell life insurance for Guardian. Although they mentioned that they provided tuition reimbursement, you had to pay everything for yourself until you got all required licenses before you were officially hired. Before they officially hired you, you have to sell at least $5,000 worth of life insurance to your friends and family. One good thing about this company is that they give a free 2-day-training.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at SGL Financial (Buffalo Grove, IL) in Mar 2014
Interview
The interview was very archaic they only asked questions to ensure that the employee would be a slave to their process. I was asked a few questions then told they would contact me if they wanted to give me an offer.
