      Plumbing Design Engineer Interview

      19 Apr 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Winter Park, FL
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at SGM Engineering (Winter Park, FL) in Apr 2017

      Interview

Normal. 3 person panel with CEO and 2 managers. CEO made a big point on trustworthiness and honesty in interview. I was called and verbally offered the job (in which the hiring manager also asked me to quit my part time job), received an email confirmation closing with "Once you have confirmed the above is acceptable, we will move forward with presenting you with a formal offer letter." After a week of no response, I emailed back to inquire about the offer (the proposed start date was now less than 1 week away) and received "At this time we are still interviewing potential candidates and are not making any formal offers." So unprofessional. DO NOT RECCOMEND
